Our Mission

JarFind exists to make discovering and downloading Minecraft server software simple, transparent, and trustworthy. We believe in open-source values, proper attribution, and respect for the amazing work done by server software developers.

How It Works

Live API Fetching

We fetch version and build metadata directly from official project APIs (PaperMC, Mojang, etc.) in real-time.

Metadata Caching

We cache metadata using Upstash Redis with appropriate TTLs (6-12 hours for versions, 1-3 hours for builds) to reduce load on upstream servers.

Direct Download Links

When you click download, you get the official download URL directly from the source. No files pass through our servers.

Full Attribution

Every server type links to its official website and displays license information. We give full credit to the original developers.

Legal & Attribution

No File Hosting

JarFind does not host or distribute any JAR files. All downloads are direct links to official project sources. We cache only metadata (version lists, build numbers) to improve performance.

JarFind is open source and community-driven. We believe in transparency and welcome contributions.

Technology Stack

JarFind is built with Next.js and uses Upstash Redis for edge-compatible metadata caching. All data is fetched live from official APIs and cached temporarily to improve performance.
